Steens Mountain Guest Ranch offers Spring Ranch Cowboy Experience Vacations in addition to the Summer/Fall Cowboy Ranch Experiences. What's different? It is a different season with different experiences and Guests will be staying in accommodations at the Ranch Headquarters, rather than a Cowboy Cow Camp.
Spring is a very busy time on the Ranch. There are new baby calves being born daily, lot's of horseback riding and cow work, cattle branding, feeding baby orphaned calves, moving cattle to new pastures, riding and repairing fences, etc. The horse weight limit is 230 lbs.
2024 Spring Ranch Cowboy Experience Dates are March through May
A deposit of $495 is required to hold the reservation. The deposit is non-refundable. However, we realize that unexpected emergencies arise so the deposit will be honored for another full guest season for a similar Experience.
2024 - 3 Night / 4 Day Spring Ranch Cowboy Experiences - $1,295/person
These Experiences begin at 4 pm on the first day and end at 9 am on the last day.
