A Cowboy Christmas

2 day / 3 night stay

Get out of the city and come have a Cowboy Country Christmas with your loved ones here at Steens Mountain Guest Ranch.

 

What will ya be doin?..... Well, fer starters, ye can help feed the horses, and then we'll climb up on the wagon and go out and feed the cows. (We got to get the “chores” done before we get to play). Then, we'll go horseback ridin' and even if yer new at it, you'll be jest fine. After were plumb froze out, we'll head inside and dependin' on what Grandma's got planned, we might whip up a batch of sugar cookies and have fun decoratin' them, or play some games, hand-twist a lariat rope, or make a Christmas tree ornament. After dinner, we'll sing a few Christmas Carols and play the hand chimes and tell one of our favorite Christmas stories. Then off to bed and sweet dreams.

 

The cost fer this Cowboy Christmas is $795 per guest and it includes everything....all meals, all activities, and 3 night's lodging in a place that will feel like home in jest a few minutes. (However, don't tell everyone about it, 'cause we only let a very few come spend Christmas at a time. That's the magic of it!)

New Year's Eve 
Dude Ranch Adventure

2 day / 3 night Stay
December 30th - January 2nd

Are ye lookin' fer somethin' different to ring in the New Year? Well, get out of the city and come experience some fun western traditions for a few days. 

​

What will ya be doin?..... Well, fer starters, ye can help feed the horses, and then we'll climb up on the wagon and go out and feed the cows. (We got to get the “chores” done before we get to play). Then, we'll go horseback ridin' and even if yer new at it, you'll be jest fine. After were plumb froze out, we'll head inside and see what activities Grandma's got planned. We'll fer sure make us a lariat rope, so we can practice ropin' a calf (or a family member). We might do some bakin' or play some games. On New Year's Eve, we'll go outside and look up in the sky at a million stars as we keep warm around a bonfire and bring in the New Year in our own special way. 

The cost fer the New Year's Holiday Ranch Adventure is $795 per guest and it includes everything....all meals, all activities, and 3 nights of peaceful and quiet sleep. (Except that ye might hear the coyotes a howlin' a little at night and fer sure you'll see the stars shinin' bright). But, s-h-h-h-h, don't tell everyone about it, 'cause this is jest fer a few guests at a time. Shoot, we hardly know what COVID is out here, 'cause it jest ain't hardly affected us. That's part of the magic of livin' in the country and we'd be happy to share a little of it with you fer a few days)
